London based NHS Trust is looking for a Specialty doctor to cover a Medicine post in Care of Elderly.

This is a vacancy to start ASAP and run through to August. The full rota includes standard days 0800-1700, lates 0800-2100 and nights 2030-0930.

Brief job spec:
The post would involve inpatient ward work in the Medicine for the Elderly wards as well as the rehabilitation unit. You would be working with a team of F1s/SHOs and SpRs to provide care to elderly and frail patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions.We also run a daily rapid access clinic where patients are assessed using a Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and undergo same day investigations.All clinical work involves close MDT working and is supervised by a consultant geriatrician. The team has opportunities for quality improvement projects and has two fixed departmental teaching sessions per week.The post will provide excellent experience in acute and general medicine for those pursuing a career in any medical specialty.The role covers a slot on the on call rota where it is expected you will cover nights and weekends as per your allocated line.

All candidates will require:
- prior NHS experience
- the Right to Work in the UK
- full GMC registration
