Our client in Scunthorpe is looking for Medicine Specialist Registrars to work in SDEC.
SDEC is the Same Day Emergency Care unit within Acute Medicine which aims to benefit both patients and the healthcare system by reducing waiting times and hospital admissions where appropriate.
Your role will be to diagnose and treat patients with conditions that can be rapidly assessed, without ward admission if clinically safe to do so. You will work closely with streaming/triage in ED.
Any medicine doctor of Specialist Registrar (SPR), Specialist Training (ST3+) or Staff Grade (SG) are welcome to apply.
Recent experience of at least 6 months within the NHS.
