The Position
Fixed Term/Permanent Acute Medicine Consultant
The successful candidates will help us to continue to develop acute medical services within the Trust which includes responsibility for not only the acute medical units but also ambulatory emergency care and our Integrated Assessment Unit. These are 10 PA posts with 7.5 DCC and 2.5 SPAs which includes a requirement to support the Acute Medical team over a seven day period
Main duties of the job This is an exciting opportunity for you to have a central role in the development of Acute Medical Services and to participate in our exciting transformational programme as an Integrated Care Organisation, whilst providing high quality acute care for our patients. Successful candidate must be currently working at a speciality doctor or equivalent with experience of Acute medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for further development and be supported by a clinical supervisor as part of their career progression

The Location
North West England
Essential Criteria
MRCP or equivalent
GMC registration with license to practice
Minimum 7 years postgraduate experience including higher medical training
5 years as a specialist registrar. P
art of this period may be in a post of equivalent responsibility and training potential.
Recent experience in Acute Medicine & Respiratory Medicine experience.
Major management training Research and audit

£84,559 - £114,003 per annum
