The Position
Full time (10 PA's) Consultant general radiologist with a specialist interest.
Applications are invited for a Consultant General Radiologist with a sub specialty interest to join a friendly, cohesive radiology department.
Our friendly department includes six full time consultants and we currently work on a 1:6 on call rota, which would become 1:7 following a successful appointment. After 5pm, imaging is sent to an outsourcing company and then overnight to the Peninsula Registrar on call. This post is offered on a whole-time basis (10PA) but suitably-qualified applicants who are unable to work full-time will be considered. The department provides high quality general and specialist services with excellent working relationships with the various medical and surgical teams across the hospital.

Essential Criteria
Primary Medical Qualification (MBBS or equivalent)
CCT in Clinical Radiology or equivalent (or within six months at time of AAC interview).
Eligible for Full GMC registration & licence to practice.
On the GMC Specialist Register in Clinical Radiology (or within six months at time of acceptance of post). Must be on the Specialist Register by the time of commencement in post.
Evidence of previous teaching and training experience.
Willingness and ability to contribute to departmental and Trust teaching programmes.
