Skilled Medical UK Exhibits at the NHS National Temporary Staffing Conference

Skilled Medical was one of 80 exhibitors to participate in the NHS National Temporary Staffing Conference held at the Rowley Mile Racecourse and Conference Centre in Newmarket, Suffolk on 16th March 2017.

The one day, sixth national agency staffing conference organised by The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub highlighted the many ways NHS organisations can more effectively manage their temporary medical staffing while also covering best practices through conference sessions and case studies.

The NHS National Temporary Staffing Conference was also an opportunity for 220 attending NHS delegates to meet with exhibiting agencies including Skilled Medical Limited who are awarded suppliers on the NHS National Clinical Staffing Framework. Dr Robyn Mason, Senior Medical Advisor, Dr Bhavna Ahluwalia, Business Development Lead and Claire Sutton, Team Leader were Skilled Medical's exhibit representatives this year.

"Skilled Medical's exhibition provided an excellent forum for our team to network with senior NHS procurement professionals and Trust and hospital HR and Recruitment Specialists,” said Dr Robyn Mason. “Skilled Medical’s strong presence in Australia provides an opportunity to facilitate recruitment of Australian doctors into the NHS. Our attendance at various sessions during the conference also provided us with a valuable insight into the UK health care industry and the many NHS changes that are happening."
