Skilled Medical Exhibits at Rural Medicine Australia

October 2017

Skilled Medical was an exhibitor at the Rural Medicine Australia conference held at the Pullman Hotel in Albert Park, Melbourne, Victoria from 19-21 October 2017.

As the peak annual conference for rural doctors and the scientific forum of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA), this year’s conference attracted over 500 delegates.

Designed to educate and inform new and practising rural health professionals passionate about generalist medicine in rural and remote communities, the 3-day conference included workshops and sessions around research in policy and practice, sports medicine and climate change and health themes. The conference delegates consisted of general practitioners and rural generalists, registrars, researchers and academics, policy makers, medical students and administrators from both the public and private sectors.

Skilled Medical Team Leader, Kirsty MacIsaac, Recruitment Consultants, Mark Jones and Venetia Allen and Compliance Team members, Angela Dunlop and Shai Strahan were pleased to represent Skilled Medical at its booth.

“Our Team was pleased to connect with our current doctors and make many valuable new contacts with rural doctors and rural health service representatives,” said Kirsty MacIsaac. “Overall, our participation and exhibit were a success and a great opportunity for us to showcase Skilled Medical’s industry expertise. This includes our personalised recruitment services and our extensive job opportunities for GPs and SMOs across Australia and New Zealand.”
