The Position

Full time (10.5 PA's) Consultant in Acute Medicine

 Providing high quality patient centred care

 Shared responsibility for the day to day management of the service and participation in strategic planning

 Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service

 Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity Active participation in continuing medical education

1 in 8 weekend commitment - 2/3 of shifts 08:30 – 16:30 covering post take ward round and acute medical areas; 1/3 of shifts 10:00 – 21:00, covering acute medical areas and supporting the general medical take, plus out of hours cover until 8.30. No weekday out of hours on call.

Essential Criteria

MRCP or equivalent

GMC registration with license to practice 

12+ months NHS experience 

CCT or within 6 months

The Package

£84,559 - £114,003 per annum

Skilled Worker (Tier 2) Visa Certificate of Sponsorship

Financial Incentive for Substantive Consultant Appointment is: £8k + £8k Relocation Package + £8k Golden Hello Payment = £24k
