The Position
An opportunity has arisen to join our large diagnostic and interventional imaging unit as it expands to provide services as part of a tertiary referral and major trauma centre development.
We would like to invite you to be a part of our exciting personnel and equipment expansion, including state of the art CT, PETCT, SPECT CT, hybrid interventional theatre, and 3T MRI scanner suite.
We support a large range of sub-specialities including neurosurgery, oncology, trauma, renal medicine and complex abdominal surgery
The post will involve 10 programmed activities of imaging support (8 DPAs plus 1.5 SPAs and 0.5 for on-call) and will predominantly require the provision of diagnostic radiology including cross sectional radiology reporting, an interest in oncology radiology with skills in PET-CT reporting and/or non-vascular interventional radiology will be supported and welcomed from a suitable candidate.
Any person who is unable to work full-time for personal reasons will be eligible to be considered for the post and, if appointed, the job plan will be discussed on a personal basis in discussion with colleagues.
The applicants should hold or be eligible for CCT within 6 months of interview.
