The Position

Part Time (2 PA's) Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillifacial Surgery

The successful candidate should be willing to integrate into an established and supportive maxillofacial department and to meet the challenges involved, as well as help develop and evolve the services. All applicants must be MFDS or evidence of equivalent qualification and hold full registration with the General Dental Council and licenced to practice.

You will be joining an enthusiastic team. The department consists of 2 Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, 1 Associate Specialist and 2 (including this post) Speciality Doctors. Located near vibrant and attractive cities, Liverpool and Manchester offer a unique and unlimited shopping experience in addition to arts, culture, music, nightlife and tourism.

Essential Criteria

Full registration with General Dental Council MFDS or equivalent

 At least two years’ ‘DCT’ training in approved oral surgery/ maxillofacial surgery post

Management of oral and maxillofacial problems

Experience in managment of facial skin cancer surgery

Experience in clinical and operative dento-alveolar surgery

Teaching and supervision of junior staff

The Package

£41,158 - £76,751 Per annum (Pro rata)
